Let go, yes. But I don't know how. There is still so much I want to hold on to. Please help me.
The connections in life, do you feel them?
Yes, they come sometimes as coincidence, sometimes as miracle, sometimes as explosions of insight. Yes, I feel the connections.
Follow them. They are the web of life: the strands that held your trunk to the floor, the strands that circled your heart at Brandt's, the strands that kept your life together when it seemed to fall apart, the shimmering strands that lured you through the door to this place. The door exists no more because you have faced your fears and your lies and are now ready to return to life.
Can I have a little more time?
You have asked all the questions. You have tested all the theories. You have drawn the only conclusions wisdom will allow. What remains?
To feel love. Love so powerful it removes all sadness. Love so gentle it eases all pain. Love deeper than anything I have ever felt or could imagine.
It does not exist beyond you. You are that love. If you have bestowed it without condition, if you have received it without merit, you have experienced all there is to love.
I know what you say is true. The more I feel this communion with others, the more my life fills with wonder and joy the courage to go on; the humility to let go.
You are endowed with something no other form of life has. You can choose to love. There is nothing more powerful, more splendid, more eternal. It is time now for you to leave. Answer please the riddle: What is Life?
Life is part of the Mystery the Mystery that has no words, no parts, no rhyme or reason; the Mystery that stands before us, behind us, within us; the Mystery that reveals its presence in our life through Love.
Give this Mystery no name for to name it is to limit it. Give it no definition for to define it is to own it. Stand before it in awe. Surrender when it calls. Trust that which can be known only in the signs around you: life, death, more life. Participate to the fullest with compassion, the glory of your humanity. And in your wisdom, think not that you are God.
